The function of the Gear; Camshaft 
1.Non-aligned Shaft Transmission
Adapts to misaligned, non-parallel, or offset shafts for angle offset and power transfer, hypoid gears in automotive differentials.
2.Motion Conversion
Converts rotational motion to reciprocating linear or compound motion, such as in engine valve trains and pump drives.
3.Variable Center Distance Adaptation
Uses eccentricity to adjust center distance, accommodating assembly errors, changes, or stepless speed variation, enhancing transmission flexibility.

4.Load and Vibration Optimization

Distributes loads through multi-tooth engagement or eccentric design, reducing impact and vibration for smoother operation and longer life.


Working principle of the Gear; Camshaft 

1.The gear is mounted on an eccentric shaft, with a distance (eccentricity) between the gear's geometric center and the shaft's rotational center.

2.As the shaft rotates, the gear rotates on its own axis while orbiting in a circular path with the eccentric shaft.

3.When meshing with a mating gear, the eccentric motion generates periodic displacement and force, converting rotary motion into reciprocating linear motion or intermittent motion.

4.In transmission mechanisms, eccentric meshing enables high reduction ratio in compact space, smooth transmission and low impact.
